Applications are open for grants under the Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program.
This program is designed to help commemorate our veterans and their proud history of service – and it’s a great chance to ensure that future generations understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.
Two categories of grants are available:
Community Grants of up to $10,000 are available for local, community-based commemorative projects and activities. These grants are focused on the local community, and projects may include, for example, developing a digital honour roll, purchasing display cabinets for memorabilia, or restoring an existing local war memorial.
Major Grants of $10,001 to $150,000 are available for projects that extend beyond the local community and are significant from a national, state, territory, or broader regional perspective. Examples include the development of a documentary commemorating Australian Prisoners of War.
Applications close on the 5th February 2025.
