Applications for grants under the Youth Empowerment Program are now open.
The Youth Empowerment Program offers funding for programs for youth aged 10 to 17, specifically those at risk of or engaged in criminal or anti-social behaviour.
The program’s objectives are to provide alternative pathways to deter criminal behaviour, helping young people break cycles of reoffending, and equipping them with life skills to prevent further engagement with the justice system.
The program also focuses on helping at-risk youth to develop skills to prevent them from becoming entrenched in the criminal justice system by promoting inclusion, building community resilience, and strengthening family support.
Grants are available from $300,000 to $1,000,000.
Applications close on the 28th January 2025.
