Any Australian can nominate a fellow citizen for recognition in the Order of Australia.
The awards recognise a person’s contribution at international, national or community level and if you someone on the southern Gold Coast who’s been doing extraordinary work, now is the time to consider nominating them.
Nominations are considered by the Council for the Order of Australia, which makes recommendations directly to the Governor-General.
